The practice of Ayurveda

I work as an Ayurveda practitioner: I offer Ayurvedic assessments, massages and traditional treatments adapted to your needs.

Before any massage, if we have not done an assessment together, a time of discussion is essential so that I can determine the type of massage and the oil best suited to your needs at the time.

The oils I use are organic - Indian tailam (Ayurvedic formulations of oil(s) and plants), sesame oil, coconut oil, mustard oil, depending on your constitution, your imbalances and the season. I also use traditional tailam (traditional Ayurvedic oil prepared with a synergy of plants) as needed.

Ayurveda, for over 5000 years, is a system of preventive and holistic medicine born in India. It takes into account the human being in its totality - body, mind and spirit - by seeking harmony and balance. Ayurvedic treatments are adapted to the uniqueness of each person according to their birth constitution called prakriti and according to their imbalance called vikriti.

Traditional full-body massages are mostly done with hot oil and are one of the essential tools of Ayurveda. The benefits are multiple:

I offer you a space for listening and discussion during consultations to understand which actions repeated daily cause a dysfunction in your health. The objective is to find the root of the "disease" together.

Important clarification: in the event of illness, I support you in parallel, in support of allopathic medicine without ever replacing it. I therefore invite you to continue your treatments and your follow-up with doctors.

Massages bring well-being, better-being and support the changes you make in your lifestyle and diet. They are always adapted to your current needs, hence the importance of the exchange before the treatment, if there has not been a complete consultation beforehand.

Thanks to the physical contact offered by the massage, you will reconnect with your body, your emotions and your energy. A real inner journey, to the heart of yourself. You may feel internally stirred, the invitation is therefore to bring you softness and a space to welcome your emotions and physical pain.

After the massage, stay calm and give yourself some rest. Hydrate yourself more than usual - I advise you to drink lukewarm water for 12 hours after the massage - in order to circulate the energies in you and promote the elimination of toxins.
